arrow.gif  Our research focuses on engineering unicellular algae for the production of natural products and biofuels.  In particular, we're interested in developing genetic and molecular techniques to help improve the production of target metabolites in the single-celled eukaryotic alga, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii.
